Black MirrorSeason 4

Black Mirror season 4 features VFX by MPC and grade by MPC colourists through Technicolour.

Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed TV series Black Mirror season 4 saw MPC partner with the production and create the VFX in Episode 3, ‘Crocodile’. Directed by John Hillcoat, ‘Crocodile’ stars Andrea Riseborough and features grade by MPC LA’s Mark Gethin.

MPC London’s Jean-Clément Soret graded an additional three episodes: Episode 2, ‘Arkangel’, directed by Jodie Foster, Episode 5, ‘Metal Head’, directed by David Slade, and Episode 6, ‘Black Museum’, directed by Colm McCarthy.

Both colourists brought a unique stylistic approach developed through their collective wide-ranging experience across theatrical, TV/episodic, and advertising. This diversity and depth of experience was a perfect fit for the series’ wide variety of stories and genres, and the unique cinematographic style brought to each episode.

In April 2018 Jean-Clément was awarded a BAFTA craft for Best VFX for his work on Black Mirror ‘Metal Head’.
