Brigitte, directed by Lynne Ramsay, is the 18th commission from Miu Miu Women’s Tales.
The acclaimed short film series invites today’s most profound and original female directors to investigate vanity and femininity in the 21st century. The striking black and white film gives a rare insight into the photographer’s creative rhythms, her obsession with human details, and how her lens articulates a way of relating to the world.
MPC provided the post production with colour by Jean-Clément Soret who commented:
“It is always a special moment to be working with Tom Townend and Lynne Ramsay and it is refreshing to experiment with black and white photography. Composition and texture are of greater importance than in colour. It demonstrates that the colourist’s work extends further and also needs to facilitate the overall vision of the director and D0P”.
