MPC TEAMS UP WITH ODD ON M&S’ FIRST TV AD FOR ‘KILLER’ DENIM CATEGORY
Launched in Valentines’ month, “Start a denim love affair” shows a group of denim-clad free spirits dancing in a field to Donna Summer’s classic I Feel Love, shortly after sunrise.
MPC handled the VFX led by Lora Nikolaeva and grade by Matthieu Toullet. The campaign aims to reinforce the message around encouraging people to fall in love with denim. M&S will show the TV ad in love-themed shows including Love Island and First Dates.




Matthieu Toullet, colourist at MPC commented:
“It was an absolute pleasure to be part of this true piece of art. Simplicity very often creates a good spot and it’s definitely the case here. The stunning sunrise light along with the texture of the image creates a beautiful filmic aesthetic.”
“Start a denim love affair” is the third campaign that MPC has worked on with M&S and ODD, previous campaigns include, ‘Go Jumpers for Christmas’ and ‘Go Pyjamas for Christmas’.
